Isolating Mapping

Postby Angus94 » Thu Sep 10, 2015 1:12 pm

i have a car body that is in 4 sections (chassis, hood, front bumper, rear bumper) and includes cockpit parts as well, i would like to show just the body mapping that all 4 parts share so i can use that for painting. how is this done, every time i try i get the mapping for the complete car and nothing is isolated.

you see in UV Mapper a layout of mapping for polygons/vertices you had selected while "Edit UV" tool has acted. So, you need to get desired objects (vertices/polygons) selected (you can hide the rest) prior to using Edit UV tool.
