How can I prevent others importing my model wft?
.
I don't find the option to lock the .wft... or it isn't like for .dff?

Hi Oleg,

I worked for two years with the zm2.0.9 but since this version doesn't work properly on my new laptop I decided to switch to 2.2.0.

In your initial post you mentioned that this new version is not compatible anymore to older versions. Does this compatibility issue refer to the old zm1.0.7 or also to the zm2.x.y versions?

As far as I can see I can open and edit my old 2.0.9 modells but I prefer to ask first before I get in some kind of troubles :? .

yes, it relates to incompatibility with ZModeler 2.1.x and 2.0.x series. If you run version 2.2.0 and higher, you can't open your .z3d files in versions prior to 2.2.0.

I mean that .z3d file saved in ZModeler 2.2.0 and higher will fail to open in ZModeler 2.1.1 and earlier versions!

But why do you need to save in earlier version if the newer version has everything the same and even more?

You can download it from Microsoft website using the link below:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=766a6af7-ec73-40ff-b072-9112bab119c2&displaylang=en.
(You should download and install "vcredist_x86.exe" regardless of 32 or 64 bit edition of your Windows OS).
Some users reported that it's preferable to pick "Run..." directly in your browser, instead of downloading and running from your PC.

I appologise for such an inconvenience!

The link is off.
Can i download this in other place?

from version 2.0.9 and higher you need a new registration code. if you had a registered 2.0.8 version, you can provide me you full name, e-mail and approximate date of registration - in case you ordered your copy legaly, you will get an e-mail with new registration key and activation steps.

so if you have a earlier than that version you can upgrade without losing key code?

if you upgrade upto 2.0.9 and higher, new-style registration code is a must. (it was provided to all registered users when 2.0.9 was released).

Also, autoupdate will always upgrade to the most recent version.
