Local axis issue with car part

Postby Sizzlenuts » Thu Nov 02, 2017 8:14 pm

Relatively new to zmodeler so I apologize if this has been asked before. I have a boot for the custom truck I'm editing and it has a rotating local axis attached from the previous model maker and it's not positioned correctly according to how the boot should rotate when opened. When the trunk (boot) goes down in game it falls a few feet then opens which I'm pretty certain is because of that rotating axis being too far away. Maybe I'm wrong about that? Any help on how to connect it to the bottom of my boot would be much much appreciated. Thanks!!

modify\move -> expand options by pressing small button in top-right corner, toggle "move axes only". then hover an object and move it (only axes will be moving).

similar options for Rotate: rotate axes on, rotate geometry off; then ZM will rotate axes only.
