Flickering geometry

Flickering geometry

My vehicle is flickering very hard. Its not the textures but geometry.
I dont know what the problem really is. Might this be a problem with normals or overlapping UVs?

probably, duplicate polygons. switch to poly level, hover one polygon and delete it - then take a look whether you actually see a hole there or some other polygon is still filling the gap.

I went through all of my geometry, I fixed some things, now it seems to work. Do these things also happen when there are multiple UV sets?

nope, multiple uvs are barely related to this. according to your description this looks like "z-fighting" problem that appears when multiple overlaying polygons (duplicate geometry) are rendered.
