Move/rotate animated parts

Postby golf2_107 » Mon Jun 27, 2016 7:21 am

I try to learn basics about animations and I did an animation to a "steeringwheel" and it works fine but when I move/rotate it to another position and playback the animation again it is pulled back in the origin position.

Position I have put on the animation :

Position after I moved and rotatet the part in diffrent position:

Now I press the play button and its back in position of picture 1. So how can I move or rotate an allready animated part?
Or is there any chance to put animation on a steering wheel when its allready in this postion:

How can I make it rotate a 100% round when its in a Position like this?

you have to redo an animation, as it suppresses object position/rotation at playback.

Okay I tried that but when I start rotating the wheel like in the video at 5:30 my wheel rotates pretty bad and also changes the rotation in left and right view. What I'm doing wrong?

then local axes of your steering wheel are probably not set the good way (you can center them with display\local axes\center to object).

Also, when you zoom closer, the rotation tool will rotate object to smaller angle; you can zoom out to make rotation go faster; alternatively, you can just click on an object and type desired rotation angle in flyout window.
