GMT file importing issue

Postby shinkiba » Thu Sep 17, 2015 6:17 am

Having a problem here,
I cannot even import GMT file.

This is the first time using ZModeler and I want to attach a little pole to the body of the car,
but ZModeler stops working right after I press "Import" button after selecting the file I want to import.

I extracted the MAS file in rFactor to extract the GMT files by using MAS file Utility.

I have no clue why Zmodeler stops working, whether the problem is the ZModeler or the GMT file.
I've read the post http://forum.zmodeler3.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5376 and installed all the stuff so it should be something else.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem or experiences slimilar problem, please help me.

I see you don't have a "Textures browser" button in toolbar, meaning textures service has failed to start up. This could be the cause of the problem.

Textures service might fail to startup when required DirectX files are not installed. Make sure to install DirectX 9.0c June 2010 Redistributive package (x86 version). You can get one here:

Thank you very much!
I actually did download and opened the .exe file of DirectX,
but it seemed like I needed a Japanese version of it in order to succeed the installation.

The "Textures browser" button did appear now and I'm able to import GMT files now :D
