GTA IV Spots brighter than others after welding

After releasing this car months ago, I reworked it because I wasn't happy how the welding turned out.
This time, I welded it 0.001 Precision, 45.0 Smooth and 0.000 UV Limit. Turned out smooth like a babys butt.
After finishing the Prelit Color process, I noticed that single spots on the car appear darker than the rest. I basically prelit the car, then set the color to a near pure-white (250, 250, 250) and pressed Fill Selection.
How could I fix that?
It's visible in the red circle, but also on the fenders.

apply Surface\normals\normalize first, as welding sometimes produce non-uniform normals.

if this does not resolve the problem, you can paint per-vertex manually by picking desired color, hiding unnecessary vertices/parts/panels and using soft-pressure brush and multiple touch-up on problematic vertices and round of them to reduce this effect.
